I've been staying here for years. Best prices in Ocean city. You get a room and a parking spot that nobody can take, which is convenient in the busy summer season. You are literally one block from the boardwalk, beach, and everything important. It's right across the street from a really good pancake breakfast restaurant as well. The owner is kind and keeps his establishment clean and peaceful. Yes the rooms are very small, basic, and the building is old, but they do offer larger rooms. Large families should try to get a bigger room. But for a couple who just needs a place to sleep, nothing is more friendly to your wallet than the Ocean Manor.
We visited this place over 10 years ago, and we haven't been to the beach since for financial reasons, but I can't believe it's still there. This place is a diamond in the rough, the prices have barely changed whilst all the other money greedy motels around them are outrageous. This place stays humble. The staff was amazing. We rented a 2 bdrm cottage and it was adorable. We even played horseshoes with the renters next to us in the quaint lil backyard you walk out into from you room surrounded by a picket fence so you're still able to see everything going on around you, yet it's private at the same time. We grilled in our lil backyard sat at the picnic tables they provided and had the best vacation. It's a hop, skip and jump from the beach AND the amusement park. There's also a great lil restaurant right across the street from them serving home cooked food. I can't wait to go back I'm so excited it's still exists! I wish I still had pics, but it's literally an apt. For these prices it's just unbelievable. I hope they never change.
My now wife and I have been going here for 6 years for all of our hotel needs in Ocean City, and we love this place! The rooms are no frills, perfectly sized, and have all the amenities of a home away from home experience. The owner Brian is polite and helpful throughout your stay and makes accommodation switches such as room location and size to fit your needs. We love the inlet and this is the best place to stay if you want somewhere quiet but close to the boardwalk. Highly recommended.
We vacationed here in 2022 have not vacationed since but want to go and stay here next summer but can not get anyone to answer the phone that is listed on website. Really sad because we had a great time staying here. We stayed in one of the larger apartments and it was really spacious and comfortable. Rooms were very clean and nicely decorated.
July 2011, Every single day for senior week, my best friend and I had the best room service imaginable. It was spic and spam and smelled fresh. The facilities were a little small but definitely affordable for a week get away :) plan to be down within this next week and will definitely visit the place again. We also met some people there who really made it fun for the week. Great place to find a lot of fun people. UPDATE!!! From August 18th to the 25th, 2018 My best friends and girlfriend and I went to this place and got apartment 1. We all had a BLAST! Brian is a super nice guy and always accommodated whenever we needed something or had a problem. The place was wired in the 1950's so it would blow a fuse every once in a while. But we had another AMAZING time down here in Ocean City and we are already making the plans for next year to use one of the two bedroom cottages! Brian! I hope you read this! I want you to know that we absolutely LOVED our experience and we look forward to coming back again next year.
I have the best memories from my family staying here over the years. Always great rooms, and friendly service. My grandparents Carl and Susan Jonas always made sure we had the best rooms. I hope to make another visit.
